Black Butte

Well last weekend we went to Black Butte so Paul could go golfing with his good buddies Kristian and Pete and we then stayed the night in Bend with some of our other friends Eric and Jill. Unfortunately I did not take pictures of the Marleys but it too was fun to hang with friends. It was a quick trip but we all had fun.

As we started out we stopped for a pee break (with 3 kids all potty trained how can you not)
and this is what we saw.

My 1st thought was lets keep the kids in the car if this is the sign you read. However we went to the cliff and what a beautiful sight it was!

Well we arrived safely and Paul went golfing the whole Ingebrigtsen family plus me and my kids went swimming. I of course forgot my camera so you will just have to believe me when I said we had fun!

Well after the golfing and a few hours of swimming the kids had some more fun!

Noah and Isak golfed,

Paige and Madeline rode bikes with their friend Lilly and her cousins

and Ben played with his friends, Soren and Simon.

Kristian, Paul and Pete were all good buddies in school and it just so happened that all the wives had boys all born around the same time so we had to get a photo of the old buddies and the new buddies.

After dinner we of course had to go into Sisters and get some Ice Cream! What a way to end a perfect day!

And like I said it didn't end there we stayed the night with the Marley's and stayed up talking until the sun almost came up (not really but it sure felt like it).
**Find out what happened to Ben in the next post tomorrow!

10 years...

So I had a 10 year reunion a few weeks ago and I have been meaning to get this up and going but I had a vision of how I wanted to display this and it has taken me awhile to get it all down. It's not 100% perfect but if I wait too much longer it will be another 10 years till I think it's perfect.

So this is where it all began. This is Sprague High and we were the Olympions aka OLY'S! Our colors were orange and brown. I have good and bad memories but the good out weigh the bad.
Football games where a must, screaming at the game was an absolute must and sporting the colors was beyond absolute must! Many games I watched. Some lost some won.

This is a picture of my two homes I lived in while I went to Highschool. One on the left is my Dad's, I lived here most of the time. (he doesn't live there anymore) the one on he right is my Mom's (she also doesn't live there anymore)

Here are a few of my friends. If someone asked me what group I was in I would say I was in them all-I was everyone's friend. I wish I had taken more pictures when I was in school but you just don't think about those things at the moment. I have to admit some of these scare me...what was I wearing, my hair? And I thought I looked good :) Here I am camping the end of my freshman year I think. The other picture is of me, Lauren Dyer and Christy Cochenour at EFY. Now those were fun times! Oh and better yet here is the 3 of us going to our first stake dance-Man what were we thinking?

My senior year was a lot of fun but also my biggest changes happened. I won't bore you with the details. Here is my group of friends I hung out with most of the time. Me, Eryn, Jenny, Amiee,Travis and Monty. Don't even ask what we were doing-just being silly I assume.

Eryn and I the morning of our graduation at the practice.

This is me and the other one is Monty. I sure LIKED him!!! We were best friends and also went to prom together which is a big deal your Senior year.

It is funny how LIFE can change, one minute your going to prom hanging with your friends graduating and then Oh something totally different happens then you were expecting. I know I went down a different path then I thought I would take but it sure brought some amazing things in my LIFE!

Next thing I know I'm dating my future Husband. 6 months later we were engaged-I know fast huh!

Then 6 more months later we were getting married-Yikes really fast huh!
Well you know the saying first comes love, then comes marriage, then comes a baby in the baby carriage. At least it wasn't another 6 months later or else there might have been something fishy going on-if you know what I mean...(This actually isn't our first born but I couldn't find any of her and me at the hospital and it gets the point across)The next thing I know I have one turned into two. My beautiful girls Paige and Madeline.
Well life comes at you fast and the next thing that happened was our big move to Tucson, Arizona. Man we were scared and had no clue what was going to happen. However it turned out to be the best thing for us, and it brought more exciting things into our lives. Noah our first boy.

Well all good things must come to an end so we said good bye to Arizona and moved back to Oregon. Then eventually (most recently) came baby number 4. Ben It is funny how in 10 years so much has changed in my life and all the places and new friends I have made. These are our friends from Arizona. We had the best of times. I have since made many more friends but do not have pictures-sorry about that. I do have one of Katy my sister in law and I. She is one of my greatest friends.

I now live in Dufur, been married 9 years and have 4 beautiful children.

So here we are 10 years from graduation and everyone in my class has changed too. I wonder what the next 10 years will bring...
